The writers of this blog are Emmie and Alexander, a married 20-something couple living in the south of Sweden. They’re nerds and are passionate about many things. Some of these things they write about on this blog.
Alexander is a 23 year old Briton, who moved to Sweden to live with Emmie. He was born in Bath, and grew up in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. He has lived all in many places: around England, Cyprus, and Sweden. He currently occupies his time by studying Swedish at Komvux in Lund.
Alexander is very interested in history, especially late 19th and early 20th century Britain. He often wears suits with a vintage style, including hats, listens to old music and watches old films, and even likes having old furniture in his home.
Alexander is also interested in computers and tailoring. If tailoring was still a profession that was great to work in, he would already be apprenticing. As it is, computing is a much easier and better paid profession, so that is what he is going to work in. However, he is still interested in amateur tailoring, for himself and Emmie.

Emmie is a 24 year old Swedish barefoot enthusiast. She loves cooking and baking and has a vegan cooking blog called . She works as a carer for the elderly & disabled and is one of those left wing crazies.
Emmie grew up in the north of Sweden, in various houses and villages (her mother could never settle down). At 16 she moved down to the very south of Sweden and went to school there. She met her husband online, slaying dragons and whatnot in an online game called World of Warcraft, and decided to marry him after having lived together for two years.
Emmie is a true magpie in the sense that she loves all things shiny and has an extensive collection of costume jewellery. Some of her other collections include bizarre money boxes, books and kitchen things, such as china, glassware, cutlery and nifty gadgets.
